Our Ensembles

Guitar Ensembles

What's it all about?

We have two Guitar ensembles, Junior Guitars and Intermediate Guitars.

Our Guitar ensembles allow guitarists to come together to share and create music. All guitarists are welcome although it helps if you can read music. Don't worry if you don't, our teachers are there to help and guide you.
About our lessons

Junior Guitar Ensemble

Our most beginner group, having lots of fun making music together, learning about how to play together in an ensemble.

For some of our members they haven’t been playing very long and our teachers support them helping them to feel really confident. Members get to make loads of friends whilst developing vital musicianship skills, improving their overall playing.

When? Monday evenings 4:15-5:00
Led by: Kevin Wallace

We tend to perform in at least two concerts a year and love to create online concerts for our You Tube channel!

Intermediate Guitar Ensemble

This is our more advanced Guitar ensemble, stretching our members and learning new skills.

Intermediate Guitars play much more varied and challenging repertoire which really pushes our members to be the best musicians they can be. We get to perform at least twice a year and enjoy recording performances for our You Tube channel.

All guitarists are welcome, members are usually around grade 3 plus in order for them to be able to master the more challenging music. Our members choose a lot of the music and get to be a part of the creative process.
